Yoga Strengthens Body And Mind, Says Dr Abhishek Verma At IDY 2025 Event In Delhi

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Dr Abhishek Verma, National Coordinator and Election In-charge of Shiv Sena (NDA alliance), organised a grand yoga programme at his private residence in New Delhi.

More than 110 people, including yoga practitioners, social workers, and special guests, took part with great enthusiasm.

Dr Verma’s family – Anka Verma, Princess Nicole Verma, and Yuvraj Aditeshwar Verma – also participated. All of them practised yoga, pranayama, and meditation in the traditional Sanatani method.

Renowned yogacharyas guided the participants and spoke about yoga’s benefits for physical and mental well-being.

Leaders stress importance of Yoga as a way of life

In his address, Dr Abhishek Verma called yoga a scientific gift from India’s Sanatan tradition. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking it to the global stage.

Dr Verma stated that under the leadership of Shiv Sena (NDA) leader Eknath Shinde, the party aims to turn yoga into a mass movement. He urged citizens to adopt yoga as a daily lifestyle, not just a one-day activity.

Smt Anka Verma shared that yoga helps her balance motherhood, business, and spirituality. She described yoga as her inner guide and strength.

Princess Nicole Verma said yoga brings her mental peace and stability in today’s stressful life. She called it a source of self-confidence.

The event ended with Vedic mantra chanting, prasad distribution, and a pledge to integrate yoga into daily life.

The programme blended patriotism, spiritual awareness, and social consciousness in a meaningful way.
