The entire country, including Ayodhya, is immersed in a spirit of celebration, enthusiasm, and joy today. This jubilation marks the return of Lord Shri Ram, the revered symbol of faith for millions of Hindus, to his home after an extended period. The consecration ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple has been completed, and devotees gathered at Saryu Ghat to revel in the auspicious occasion.
The sanctum sanctorum witnessed the participation of key figures in the rituals, including the Prime Minister, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Sangh Chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Governor Anandi Ben Patel. Following the consecration ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath presented a replica of the Ram temple in Ayodhya to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Expressing his sentiments, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat remarked, “Today, after 500 years, Ram Lala has returned here, and we owe our deepest respect to the efforts that have brought us to this golden day. The history of Ram Lala’s return holds such power that anyone who hears it in this era will find relief from sorrows and pains.”
Bhagwat went on to recount the historical context, stating that Ramlala had to go into exile during Treta Yuga due to discord in Ayodhya. He emphasized that God went into exile to resolve the discord and has now returned after 500 years. Mohan Bhagwat urged for discipline in the present era, ensuring that no discord disrupts societal harmony.
During the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony, the streets were adorned with flowers from Lata Mangeshkar Chowk to Ram Ki Paidi, creating an atmosphere of happiness throughout Ayodhya. The return of Ramlala after centuries has become a momentous occasion, with the hope that it will inspire unity and harmony in society.
“With Lord Ram’s return in Ayodhya, India’s pride has also returned. This is the rise of new Bharat… PM Narendra Modi observed the vrat like a tapasvi. He followed Ram’s path. It symbolises the start of New India…,” he said.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat, in his address on Monday, called the pran pratishtha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya a “golden moment for India”.
“There is enthusiasm in every part of the country…We can’t forget the sacrifices of those who made this day possible. We salute them,” he said.

“This occasion brings along a lot of responsibilities. We have to put an end to all conflicts…We have to bring Ram Rajya now…The four principles of religion are satya, karuna, suchita, tapas. We must implement it as per the current times. Satya says Ram is everywhere. We must maintain balance with everyone. Coordination is key. Karuna means kindness, we must serve humanity, be kind, have patience…Give back to society. Keep ourselves in control and respect others’ opinions. Apne desh ko vishwa guru banana hai…,” he said.
“Citizens must exercise discipline and restraint. Tapas is needed for the purification of society. PM Modi did his tap, now it is our turn,” he said.
Bhagwat had stated on Sunday that the “entry” of Ram Lalla into his birthplace in Ayodhya and the temple’s “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony will mark the start of the campaign for the “reconstruction of Bharatvarsh,” which is for harmony, unity, progress, peace, and everyone’s well-being. Bhagwat mentioned the “continuous struggle of the Hindu society” for the building of the temple in Ayodhya in an article published on the RSS website. He also stated that the “conflict and bitterness” over the dispute should now end.
