A man who managed a WhatsApp group, according to the police, was detained here after a “derogatory” remark made about the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh in the group surfaced on social media.
According to Kotwali Police Station SHO Ajay Kumar Seth, a comment made about Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, went viral on social media on August 4.

Muslim Ansari, the person who posted the comment, is still at large, according to Sahabuddin Ansari, the person who was detained.
Seth claims that on August 4 via Twitter, the police were informed of the complaint in this case.
He claimed to have a screenshot of the offensive remark.
Sahabuddin Ansari and Muslim Ansari were charged under several provisions of the IPC, the IT Act, and the Criminal Law Amendment Act as a result of the complaint.
According to the police, there are practically all of the Nagar Palika Parishad of Bhadohi’s corporators in the WhatsApp group called “Nagar Palika Parishad Bhadohi,” which was created with the intention of addressing issues that common people experience.
Police further stated that this is not a corporate WhatsApp group.
