A 21-year-old woman from Mumbai agreed to play the role of a wife for 5 days. But the husband fell for the woman and the police had to intervene to end this whole scene.
The woman had done some roles in TV serials and movies. So, she agreed to play wife to a man from MP in exchange for Rs.5000. This deal came to her from Karan, who is the husband of her friend Ayesha.
According to the statements of a police officer, the woman on March 12 visited Mandsaur village along with Karan. There, Karan introduces her to his known, Mukesh. Mukesh developed a feeling of liking for her and had a discreet chat with Karan. They told the woman that she will have to act as Mukesh’s wife in front of his family, to which the woman agreed.
Taking this story further, the woman and Mukesh married each other at a nearby shrine. Mukesh’s family was present at the wedding ceremony. Further, she moved to Muykesh’s house and started acting like a homemaker.

Finally, this act had to come to an end as the sixth day came. On the day, the woman told Mukesh that the reality has to come out. She was startled as Mukesh said that the marriage was real. He also stated that he had paid money to Karan for the same and that he will not let her go. Thereafter, she called Karan who was trying to avoid questions and confrontation.
After this, the woman called a friend from Mumbai who informed the Dharavi police station regarding the whole scene. Finally, when police arrived, Karan and Mukesh were absconding from the site.
The police brought the woman back to Mumbai. On being asked if she was sexually assaulted, she denied it. Police is currently looking for culprits Karan and Ayesha
