Weather Update: Now the havoc of winter is slowly increasing in the country. Dense fog remained in many states including Delhi NCR. Because of which people are facing a lot of trouble in getting out on the road. For the last two days, cold wind with dense fog has increased the chill. But people got relief from the sunlight that came out during the day. On the other hand, the drop in temperature due to cold wave increased the trouble for the people on Wednesday. Dense fog is blowing in the capital since morning along with cold wind. At the same time, due to the severe cold and cold wave in UP, the government has issued a yellow alert in 36 districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog is going to remain in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh for the next three days. Along with this, cold wave will also prevail in many states of North India. Due to the decrease in temperature between fog and cold wave, winter is expected to increase in some areas. At the same time, the Meteorological Department (IMD) also told that the visibility in Amritsar, Ganganagar, Bareilly at 5.30 am was 25 meters. While 50 meter visibility was recorded in Ambala, Bahraich and Varanasi.

The minimum temperature in the capital Delhi today was 6 degrees. Dense fog cover was seen in Delhi for the third consecutive day. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no change in the minimum temperature on 22 December. However, the maximum temperature can be 21 degrees.
