Weather Update: Cold Wave In North India, Hailstone Fell In Assam, Snowfall In Kashmir

Weather Update: Outbreak of cold continues in the entire country including North India. Cold wave continues in most parts of North India. Apart from dense fog in the morning in Delhi and surrounding areas, cold winds have troubled people. In the capital Delhi, where the temperature has dropped to 4 degrees, in some states the mercury has reached 0 degrees. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department told that during the next 48 hours there will be fog in Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Western Rajasthan and Delhi.

Along with the dense fog in the capital Delhi, extremely cold wind continues . Today on Tuesday morning, the minimum temperature of Delhi has been recorded at 8 degrees. According to the IMD in Delhi, dense fog is expected to persist on the morning of Tuesday, December 27. Wind is blowing at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour in New Delhi.

Snow Started Falling In Hilly Areas

At the same time, snowfall and rain have been seen in some hilly areas. In Rajasthan, the temperature has reached below zero at some places. Radheshyam, officer of the Meteorological Department of Sikar district of Rajasthan, said that the minimum temperature in Fatehpur has been recorded at -1.5 degree Celsius. So the minimum temperature in Churu and Karauli was minus 0.2 degree Celsius. Apart from this, the temperature in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab has been kept in the category of cold wave.

Hailstone In Assam’s Dibrugarh

Apart from Rajasthan, there was rain as well as hailstorm in many parts of Dibrugarh in Assam. After which snowfall was also seen. Due to snowfall, the cold wave continues . According to news agency ANI, there has been hailstorm and snowfall in Moran area.

Weather Update: Snowfall In Pahalgam

The cold has created a ruckus in Jammu and Kashmir. Severe cold is expected in most parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Along with this, the temperature in many parts has gone beyond the minimum degree. The tourist resort of Pahalgam in South Kashmir received snowfall. Whose first snowfall of the season attracted people. Apart from this, dense fog was seen in many places in the state.
