PM Modi In Himachal
Prime Minister Modi made a significant visit to Himachal Pradesh last Friday, where he shared his experiences through a video on Instagram, encouraging others to explore the beauty of the region. Despite the bustling election campaign, Modi found solace in capturing moments of Himachal’s natural splendor, reminiscing about past visits and reaffirming his deep bond with the state.
Commencing his engagements, the Prime Minister addressed a rally in Nahan, followed by a public meeting in Mandi district. In Mandi, he commenced his speech by paying homage to the deities, emphasizing the historical decision made during the BJP Working Committee session in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. This decision marked a pivotal moment in history as the BJP resolved to oversee the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, fulfilling a centuries-old aspiration. Modi underscored Himachal’s integral role in this endeavor, stating that the land has been instrumental in the temple’s realization, invoking a sense of fulfillment after a wait of 500 years. He attributed this accomplishment to the collective power of the people’s votes, expressing joy over Ramlala’s presence in Ayodhya and the blessings bestowed upon Himachal.
In his address, PM Modi also addressed the stance of Congress, highlighting their opposition to initiatives such as the uniform civil code. Modi reiterated his commitment to ensuring equality under the law for every Indian citizen, regardless of their religious affiliation, emphasizing the need for uniform civil laws. He criticized Congress for endorsing Sharia law under the guise of Muslim personal law, contrasting it with his vision of a unified legal framework for all citizens of India.
Through his engagements in Himachal Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi not only celebrated the natural beauty of the region but also reiterated key political agendas, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to fulfilling promises and driving inclusive governance.
