VIRAL: Girls In Delhi Metro Wore ‘Exposing’ Outfits, Is Uorfi Their Inspiration?

Uorfi Javed has maintained to be the sensation of the nation because of her bold and mysterious looks. It is said that she can wear anything and everything. From jute bags to electric wire, anything can become an inspiration for her day’s outfit. Recently in a viral video, a girl in Delhi metro is seen wearing a bikini kind of outfit due to which she is being trolled heavily. Worth mentioning is the fact that this is not the first case where a girl is seen traveling in the Metro in such an outfit. But one thing is the same, every time a female appears in such an ‘avatar’, she is compared to Urfi.

Chain of incidents in the Delhi Metro

The most recent case of such an incident in Delhi Metro has attracted a lot of trolls. The girl in the video is being trolled and supported at the same time. Some people support her by saying ‘her body, her choice’ while others accuse her of pseudo-feminism. Also, as mentioned earlier she is being compared to Uorfi Javed while quoting her as a copy of the model. In addition to this, Barkha Trehan, founder of Purush Ayog who raised voice men in a tweet said, “I would call it cultural GEN*CIDE”

Another video in the same context was posted by Barkha which asked, “if the girl roams in the Metro dressing the same way daily?”Replying to this, a Twitter user said, “that the girl is simply asking for attention and one should not give the same.” Also, another Twitter user stated, “She is doing nothing but spoiling Indian culture.”

This was not the last one; another picture came to the Internet which displayed a girl in a blue Bikini. She as well was brutally trolled and compared to Uorfi. It seems that Uorfi has become synonymous with exposing fashion sense.

Uorfi’s name is there in the headlines with or without her being part of the news.
