Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Takes Holy Dip At Triveni Sangam; Calls It A ‘Life-Blessing Moment’

Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam on Saturday, calling it a ‘life-blessing moment’.

Accompanied by his wife and family, he arrived in Prayagraj by helicopter, where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath welcomed him with an Angavastram at the helipad.

From there, the Vice President proceeded to Arail Sangam Ghat, where he boarded a cruise for a boat ride before reaching the designated spot at Triveni Sangam for the sacred bath.

Amidst Vedic chants of Swasti Vachan, he immersed himself in the holy waters, carrying a Shivling on his head as a mark of devotion.

Vrindavan’s chief priest, Pundarik Goswami, conducted the religious rituals and led the traditional puja.

During the boat ride, the Vice President was delighted to witness Siberian birds at Triveni Sangam. He fed them by hand, sharing the experience with his family.

As they sailed, CM Yogi Adityanath explained the spiritual significance of the confluence, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the invisible Saraswati rivers meet.

After taking the holy dip, the Vice President greeted devotees gathered at the ghats. He expressed his joy, calling it one of the most blessed moments of his life.

Following this, he visited Saraswati Koop, Akshay Vat, and Bade Hanuman Temple with his family, offering traditional puja. He presented roli, sacred thread, sindoor, red sandalwood, clothes, garlands, incense, and prasad to Lord Hanuman before circumambulating the temple.

CM Yogi shared the spiritual importance of these revered sites during the visit.

The Vice President praised the grand and well-organized preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025, describing it as an unparalleled spiritual gathering. He stated that he had never witnessed such a meticulously planned event and felt honored to be part of it.

CM Yogi Adityanath, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, and senior Uttar Pradesh government officials attended the visit.
