PM Modi Conferred with Bhutan’s Top Honor Says, “Very Big Day in My Life”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made history by becoming the first foreign head of government to be bestowed with Bhutan’s highest civilian honor, the ‘Order of Druk Gyalpo.’ In a gracious acceptance, PM Modi dedicated this prestigious accolade to the 1.4 billion people of India, expressing deep gratitude on behalf of the nation.

During the ceremony held in Bhutan’s capital, Thimphu, Prime Minister Modi humbly acknowledged the significance of the honor, attributing it not to personal achievement but to the collective spirit of India.
