A delegation from Ethiopia’s Ministry of Health visited Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today to seek support for a Knowledge Exchange Collaboration with Uttar Pradesh. The collaboration focuses on adopting digital health technologies to improve public health services in Ethiopia. Uttar Pradesh’s success in providing doorstep delivery of health services has significantly impacted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), drawing attention from around the world, particularly Africa.
The Ethiopian delegation, led by Mr. Gemechis, Digital Health Lead, included three additional members. Mr. Gaurav Pande, a Digital Health and Medical Tourism Expert, coordinated the visit. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured the delegation of full support and recommended they visit the Central Command Centre and several model hospitals equipped with telemedicine capabilities.
