CMD Upendrra Rai participated in the World Book Fair.
The World Book Fair is currently underway at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, starting from February 10th and running until February 18th. On February 11th, the eleventh edition of CEO Speak by the Forum of Publishing was held at Hotel Ambedkar. Upendrra Rai, Chairman, Managing Director, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, participated in the event. Additionally, Milind Sudhakar Marathe, Minister of State Subhash Sarkar, and NBT Director Yuvraj Malik were also in attendance.
The event commenced with an address by Milind Sudhakar Marathe, emphasizing the National Book Trust’s (NBT) ongoing efforts in book promotion. Discussions revolved around strategies to foster a thriving book culture, alongside an in-depth exploration of the challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
During the event, delegates from Saudi Arabia, the honored guest country of the Delhi World Book Fair, were also in attendance. Minister of State, Dr. Subhash Sarkar, extended gratitude to all participants, including ambassadors from various nations, National Book Trust Chairman Milind Sudhakar Marathe, and Bharat Express CMD Upendrra Rai.
Dr. Subhash discussed the challenges of AI during the event. Following his presentation, NBT Director Yuvraj Malik also shared his perspectives.
