GORAKHPUR: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath , said that who does not know what the Sonia Gandhi led United Progressive Alliance did between 2004 and 2014. At that time, isn’t it true that he had formed Justice Ranganath Mishra’s committee to crack down on OBC reservation? The committee had recommended that out of the breservation for other backward classes, six percent reservation should be given to Muslims.
He said that BJP and NDA had protested at that time and the intentions of Congress could not be fulfilled. Not only this, Congress and its allies also tried to intrude on the rights of SC-ST. According to the Sachar
Committee report, an attempt to include some castes of Muslims in the Scheduled Castes was also made during the time of the Congress government, but due to the opposition of the BJP, the plans of the Congress could not be fulfilled.
While talking to media persons in the Gorakhnath temple complex, CM Yogi said that calling the manifesto of Congress a ‘Nyaya Patra’ is ridiculous in itself because this manifesto of the opposition party is like a new version (of the manifesto) of the Muslim League. In fact, this is a letter of injustice towards the Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Backward Castes and towards the eternal faith of India.
On the question of former Congress President Sonia Gandhi accusing BJP of promoting politics of hatred, the Chief Minister said in a harsh manner that instead of telling white lies, at least Sonia Gandhi should develop the habit of speaking the truth. Everyone knows that Congress has inherited he policy of divide and rule. In 1947, Congress allowed the devious ploy of the British to succeed and divided the country.
