UP BJP: To strengthen the Bharatiya Janta Party’s (BJP) strategy ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the State Working Committee meeting will be held in Lucknow today. The meeting will be addressed by Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
Speaking to the media, Uttar Pradesh’s BJP president, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said that the working committee meetings at the state, district, and Mandal levels will now be held in the state.
The party will hold 98 working committee meetings by February 5, and 1,900 Mandal-level meetings by February 12, he said.
Further, the state party president said that during the national executive meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP national president JP Nadda gave the necessary guidelines to the party workers. During the two-day long session, the party held discussions on the welfare of the poor and assembly elections coming up in nine states.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath is the chief guest in the first session of the state executive meeting. Over 700 delegates from the state and the party’s central body have been invited to the meeting.
Several UP ministers including Kaushal Kishore, BL Verma, Bhanu Pratap Verma, and others attended the working meeting.

According to the BJP spokesperson, the meeting will discuss the political resolution, in which the party will laud the achievements of the central government and the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh. The party will also congratulate the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and CM Yogi for the party’s victory in the Lok Sabha and assembly by-elections in Uttar Pradesh in the last few months, the spokesperson added.
During the meeting, strategies for the upcoming urban local body elections and the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be discussed.
