Two Yuvrajs Are Misleading Voters With Hollow Promises, Says PM Modi In Bihar Rally

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while campaigning in election-bound Bihar, launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav, accusing them of misleading voters with a ‘bundle of hollow promises’ ahead of the Assembly elections.

Speaking at a massive rally in Muzaffarpur, PM Modi criticised the ‘two Yuvrajs’, without directly naming them, and cautioned voters against what he described as their ‘shop of false assurances’ set up during the campaign.

Mocking the duo, the Prime Minister remarked, “One is the prince of one of India’s most corrupt families, and the other is the prince of Bihar’s most corrupt family. Both of them are out on bail in a scam worth thousands of crores.”

He went on to say that those who once kept Bihar under the shadow of ‘Lantern rule’ could never trusted to bring development or effective administration.

PM Modi said earlier governments plundered the railways for personal gain, while under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership, Bihar has become a major centre for railway component manufacturing.

Continuing his criticism of the opposition, the Prime Minister referred to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks at a Bihar rally.

“Naamdars can abuse and insult Kaamdars like me. They think that abusing and cursing the backward classes is their right and privilege. Their frustration is because they can’t digest the fact that a ‘chaiwala’ has reached the top constitutional office of the country, and hence they keep hurling abuses at me,” he stated.

Warning Against ‘Grand Alliance’s Deceptive Promises’

Urging voters to turn out in full strength, PM Modi appealed to the crowd to be vigilant while voting and not to be misled by the ‘grand alliance’s deceptive promises’.

He accused the Congress and RJD of concealing their internal rifts and pretending unity despite clear differences, driven solely by their hunger for power.

Citing pre-election surveys, PM Modi said the reports indicated a clear defeat for the RJD-Congress combine and a decisive mandate in favour of the BJP-led NDA.

Ending his speech with a call for continued support, he reiterated the slogan ‘Abki baar, NDA sarkar’, expressing confidence that the people of Bihar would once again choose the NDA to lead the state.
