Two Alleged Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Shooters Killed In Haryana STF-Delhi Police Encounter

On Sunday, a joint team from Haryana’s Special Task Force (STF) and the Delhi Police Special Cell shot and killed two alleged Lawrence Bishnoi gang shooters near the Balaur bypass in Bahadurgarh, Haryana.

A police constable suffered serious injuries during the gunfight and was shifted to a higher medical centre for treatment.

Four other officers escaped unharmed after their bulletproof jackets stopped the bullets fired by the accused.

Officials said police acted on a tip-off that the two wanted men were planning a serious crime in Bahadurgarh.

Acting on a tip-off, the Delhi Police Special Cell and Haryana STF set up a trap near the Balaur bypass. When the suspects spotted the police, they opened fire, resulting in an exchange of gunfire.

According to officials, the accused exchanged 12 to 13 rounds of fire with the police before the joint team eliminated them.

Police identified the deceased as Pravesh of Tibba Danasher and Himanshu of Jakhod Khera in Hisar. Authorities had announced a reward of ₹1 lakh on each of them.

Haryana STF SP Vikrant Bhushan confirmed the encounter and said the two men had orchestrated last month’s Hansi gym owner murder.

Police said the accused had remained on the run for several weeks before the joint team tracked them down and killed them in the encounter.

After the encounter, senior police officers reached the spot, sealed the area, and started the forensic examination.

Police said they are thoroughly investigating the case and will share details of the operation, recovered weapons, and the accused’s criminal records at a press conference later today.
