True Value Of Congress Resurfaces After Rahul Gandhi’s Aide Randeep Surjewala’s Misogynist Comments

In the wake of his recent controversial remarks, senior Congress leader Randeep Surjewala has once again ignited a firestorm with his choice of words, drawing attention for his comments about women.

Known for his close association with Rahul Gandhi, Surjewala’s public speeches have taken a questionable turn.

A video, shared by BJP IT head Amit Malviya on Twitter, captured Surjewala using derogatory language for women during a public address in Rajasthan.

Amit Malviya seized the moment to criticize the Congress leader, asserting that a party whose representatives resort to indecent language towards women cannot genuinely prioritize women’s safety.

Malviya stated, “After calling 23 crore countrymen who voted for BJP as demons, now Rahul Gandhi’s close aide Randeep Surjewala has also started abusing sisters and daughters in his public speeches. The party whose leaders use such indecent language for women, can never be serious about women’s safety. A clear example of this is visible in Rajasthan.”

Stirring Controversy: A Pattern of Questionable Language

This incident follows Surjewala’s recent pronouncement on Monday, August 14, where he ignited a major controversy by labeling the BJP and its supporters as “raakshas” or demons.

Speaking at a public rally in Haryana, he exclaimed, “The people of BJP and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) are ‘raakshas’ and those who vote for the party and support them are ‘raakshas’ too. Today, on this land of the Mahabharata, I curse them (BJP-JJP).”

The BJP swiftly responded, lambasting Surjewala for belittling voters and denigrating their choice.

Accusing Congress of abusing voters, the saffron party expressed the belief that the people of India would ultimately relegate the Grand Old Party to a position of irrelevance within the democratic landscape.

A Nation’s Voice: Condemnation and Critique

Shazia Ilmi, a prominent BJP leader, condemned Surjewala’s provocative rhetoric, highlighting the disdain he seemed to hold for India’s voters.

She expressed her deep dismay at his language, particularly the use of the term “demons” to refer to those who support BJP.

Ilmi’s reaction captured the outrage shared by many, stating, “I am really shocked and deeply hurt by the statement made by Randeep Surjewala. Not because he thinks so poorly of BJP, but because he thinks so poorly of India’s voters. It’s so unfortunate that because they have voted for the BJP, they are like demons? He deems them to be demons.”

Randeep Surjewala’s words have ignited conversations yet again, not just about political discourse, but about respect for democratic choice and the importance of respectful dialogue.
