Indian Railways has cancelled several trains and rescheduled two others ahead of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest scheduled for October 10, citing expected heavy traffic near New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations.
The cancellations affect Mail and Express trains scheduled to arrive at the two stations between 4 AM and 2 PM on Saturday.

Railways officials have rescheduled two Mumbai Central services by five hours.
Train 12951, the Mumbai Central–New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express, was due to depart at 05:00 PM on October 9 and reach New Delhi at 08:32 AM the following day.
Train 12953, the Mumbai Central–Hazrat Nizamuddin service, was due to depart at 05:10 PM and arrive at 09:43 AM on October 10.
Other cancelled services include train 20155 (Dr Ambedkar Nagar–New Delhi), train 09309 (Indore–Hazrat Nizamuddin), train 12415 (Indore–New Delhi), train 12247 (Bandra Terminus–Hazrat Nizamuddin) and train 12957 (Sabarmati–New Delhi). These trains were to depart on October 9 and arrive the following morning.
Delhi Police has warned people against participating in unauthorised gatherings ahead of the protest.
Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) remains in force in New Delhi, and violations could invite legal action.
Railway authorities have advised passengers to check official train schedules before starting their journeys.
