A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Noida as Ridha Mustafa, the 24-year-old daughter of former UP cadre IAS officer Mohammad Mustafa, ended her life by jumping from the 29th floor of a residential society in Sector-128. The police confirmed that Ridha, a resident of JP Township Society in the Police Station Sector 126 area, leapt from her flat’s 29th floor. She died instantly due to the impact. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and have stated that preliminary evidence points to mental stress as a possible cause.
The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police have launched a detailed probe, including scanning CCTV footage and examining all possible angles. Officials are working to determine the exact reasons behind Ridha’s decision and whether external factors contributed to the tragedy.
Ridha’s father, Mohammad Mustafa, is a retired IAS officer from the 1995 batch. He took voluntary retirement in June 2024 after a distinguished career. Mustafa rose to prominence during the Mayawati government for his firm actions against controversial politician Raghuraj Pratap Singh, also known as Raja Bhaiya.
