TMC Unveils 42 Candidates for West Bengal; Check The Full List Here

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) made a significant announcement on Sunday, unveiling its full slate of 42 candidates from West Bengal for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. In a surprising move, the ruling party of the state has nominated former Indian cricketer Yusuf Pathan as one of its candidates, fielding him from the Berhampore constituency. This seat has been held since 1999 by Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the Congress’ Bengal unit chief, who is expected to contest from the constituency again.

West Bengal boasts the third-highest representation in the Lok Sabha, with 42 members, following Uttar Pradesh (80) and Maharashtra (48).
