Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister is well-known among the public as ‘Mamaji.’ Mamaji Shivraj Singh Chouhan often repeats a sentence that the people are my deities, and I am their worshipper. Additionally, he says that my state is my family, and it is my responsibility to fulfill everyone’s aspirations. This time, Madhya Pradesh’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra also has such aspirations. Aspirations petitions have been attached to every chariot. The aim is to directly connect with the people, to understand their expectations from their leaders and the government.
In the capital, Bhopal, on Saturday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Pradesh President VD Sharma, and Yatra Coordinator Bhupendra Singh, along with other leaders, performed the rituals of five chariots and set off by showing the green flag. Shivraj Singh said, ‘Once again, we are coming to seek the blessings of the people. The people have always blessed the BJP.’
To stay in power for the fifth time, the Jan Ashirwad Yatra will start from Sunday. The yatras starting from different places in the state will be flagged off by BJP National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and Nitin Gadkari.
Aspiration boxes have been set up for all chariots to gauge the mood of the voters. In these boxes, the common citizens can write their thoughts, suggestions, and personal messages on postcards. These boxes will be placed among the public before the arrival of the yatra. Postcards will also be provided for free to write suggestions, ideas, and personal thoughts.
