The Aim Of My Life Is To Empower Women: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, my life’s goal is to make sisters’ lives better. In the state, numerous programmes are being launched to empower women. The unique Ladli Behna strategy will help the sisters develop their independence out of all of these schemes. A sum of one thousand rupees would be deposited to the sisters’ accounts on June 10. This sum will be available for withdrawal by the sisters on June 11 the following day.

According to him, Ladli Bahna Sena is being established in each village to keep an eye on the field-level programmes run in favor of women. You are welcome to let me know about any problems with the way the initiatives are being implemented. I won’t be kind to the troublemakers. Today’s Women’s Convention in Jhabua was attended by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. The sisters performed a Bhagauria dance for the Chief Minister and showered him with flowers. The sisters gave the Chief Minister a large Rakhi and attached a rakshasutra to him.

No female in the state would live in poverty or under stress, according to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. I won’t permit my sisters’ eyes to well up with tears. Sisters will be able to meet their requirements as well as the needs of the family thanks to the Ladli Bahna Yojana. He claimed that by involving women in the livelihood mission, their financial situation is improved. I’ve decided that each sister’s monthly income will be Rs. 10,000. The sisters were encouraged to sign up for the self-help organizations. According to the Chief Minister, a new era of greater power for women has begun.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that I salute Jhabua, where there is no discrimination between son and daughter. I had seen discrimination against daughters in many places. To change this mentality of society, Ladli Laxmi Yojana was implemented in the state. With the scheme, daughters are now being considered a boon and not a burden. He said that to give respect to sisters, we have made 50 percent reservations for women in local bodies. The result of this is that today many of our sisters have become panch-sarpanch, district, and district panchayat members and presidents. Provision has also been made for reservations for daughters in police, education, and other government recruitments.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan urged all the sisters present that on the evening of June 10, when the amount of Ladli Bahna Yojana will be deposited in their account, they must celebrate. Make sure to light a lamp in your home. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said in his emotional dialogue that I promise that I will live for my sisters and if I have to die, I will die for my sisters.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has done a lot of work for the poor and women. We have restarted the schemes which were stopped by the previous government in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan performed Kanya Pujan. The tribal groups gave a beautiful presentation of hymns. The women also presented a skit based on the message of the Ladli Behan Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced to present an honorarium of Rs. 25 thousand each to both parties.

In the program, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the development works and performed Bhoomi Pujan. Along with this, acceptance letters and benefits of Ladli Bahna Yojana were distributed to the sisters. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan interacted with sisters and public service friends and inquired about the progress and implementation of government schemes. Peepal sapling was also planted at Jhabua’s Gill Rest House.

Member of Parliament Mr. G.S. Damore also addressed. A large number of citizens and women including Chairman Youth Commission Dr. Nishant Khare, Chairman of Indore Development Authority Mr. Jaipal Singh Chavda, Mr. Bhanu Bhuria, Mr. Kal Singh Bhabar, Ms. Nirmala Bhuria, Mr. Shantilal Bilwal, Mr. Harinarayan, public representatives were present.
