PM Modi and Revanth Reddy
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended warm regards to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s visit to Adilabad, referring to him as ‘big brother’ (bade bhai) and emphasizing the crucial role of his support in the state’s development endeavors. Prime Minister Modi, present to launch various projects totaling Rs 56,000 crore, was hailed by Reddy as instrumental in enabling progress across states.
Reddy underscored the significance of PM Modi’s support, likening him to a guiding elder sibling for every chief minister aspiring for development. He expressed the aspiration for Telangana to emulate the developmental trajectory of Gujarat, urging the Prime Minister’s assistance towards achieving this goal.
Highlighting PM Modi’s vision of a 5 trillion-dollar economy, Reddy underscored Hyderabad’s pivotal role in this ambitious endeavor. He appealed for support in projects such as metro rail expansion and the revitalization of the Musi River, drawing parallels to the Sabarmati riverfront development in Gujarat.
Additionally, Reddy emphasized the potential of establishing a semiconductor industry in Hyderabad, positioning the city as a key player in contributing to the nation’s economic growth.

These remarks from Reddy come amidst heightened criticism from the Congress, alleging discrimination against southern states in fund allocation by the Centre.

He reiterated that the entire nation, including Telangana, is his family, echoing the sentiment of inclusive development encapsulated in the slogan “abki baar, 400 paar.”
