Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri, head of Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara, praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as the ‘Sun of Sanatan.’ He acknowledged Yogi’s leadership in advancing Sanatan Dharma and highlighted the robust preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025 under his guidance.

Swami Giri Applauds Yogi Adityanath’s Role in Advancing Sanatan Dharma

Swami Avdheshanand commended the remarkable efforts made by CM Yogi Adityanath in organizing the upcoming Mahakumbh. He emphasized that Yogi’s leadership had elevated Sanatan Dharma to new heights and preserved its eternal form. Swami Giri also lauded the Double Engine government’s contributions and Prime Minister Modi’s vision of Mahakumbh as a “Mahayagya of Unity.”

Focus on Cleanliness, Unity, and Green Initiatives for Maha Kumbh

Swami Avdheshanand urged a collective effort to ensure the success of Maha Kumbh 2025 by making it clean, healthy, green, and digital. He called on every village to participate, in collaboration with local administration, voluntary organizations, and pilgrims. The aim is to eliminate plastic, maintain cleanliness at the ghats, and enhance the spiritual experience.

Swami Avdheshanand highlighted the historical significance of Kumbh Mela as a center for the exchange of ideas and a unifying force for Sanatan Dharma. He recalled how the 2019 Kumbh Mela marked a turning point, showcasing the true essence of Sanatan to the world. The 2025 Maha Kumbh, he said, would surpass past achievements and set new benchmarks.

Swami Giri also condemned the targeting of Hindus during political unrest in Bangladesh and emphasized unity against forces undermining Hindu interests. He praised India’s rise as a global power and its strong “India First” foreign policy in times of global crises.

Swami Avdheshanand Giri urged voluntary organizations and devotees to support local administration in ensuring the event is a success. He shared key guidelines, including adopting a plastic-free environment, maintaining cleanliness, and embracing spiritual practices.

His ‘Katha’ will begin on January 6, marking the start of Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara’s religious and cultural programs. The Akhara is making extensive preparations to provide proper hospitality for devotees and dignitaries during the Maha Kumbh.
