Real estate broker Rafique Merchant recently posted a clip of the sea-facing flat and informed that the flat is available for rent at ₹5 lakh per month.

They are currently seeking a corporate individual as a tenant, but nothing appears to be working out thus far. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his residence on June 14, 2020, and the Mumbai Police first ruled.
For the past 2.5 years, the Mumbai apartment where the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead has been available for rent. It has yet to find a taker, though. Rafique Merchant, a real estate broker, recently shared a video of a sea-facing apartment and mentioned that it is for rent at 5 lakh per month.
Rafique explained to Bollywood Hungama that there isn’t a new renter in the apartment because “people are afraid to come into this home. Prospective tenants would refuse to even see the apartment once they learned that it was the one where he died. The story of his passing has gotten old; at least some people are visiting the apartment these days. The agreement is not completed. It will be immediately sold. The tenants would prefer to purchase another apartment of comparable size in the same neighborhood since it would not come with the baggage of controversy that this apartment is associated with because he is selling it at market value.
The parties are informed in advance that this was Sushant’s former residence. Some people want to go for it regardless of the history. However, their relatives and friends advise them against moving forward with the transaction. Regardless of who or how famous the film celebrity is, the owner does not want to rent the apartment to them. He has made it plain that he intends to give the apartment to a businessperson, the expert continued.
According to reports, Sushant had rented the apartment out since December 2019 for about 4.5 lakh per month. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he was staying in the apartment with his housemates and his girlfriend, the actor Rhea Chakraborty. The Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau looked into this. The financial and drug-related aspects of the case while the Central Bureau of Investigation looked into Sushant’s death.
