Special Worship & Arrangements At Siddhivinayak Temple For Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi On August 12

On the auspicious occasion of Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi on August 12, the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, will witness special religious ceremonies dedicated to Lord Ganesha.

This day holds deep spiritual significance and draws lakhs of devotees to the temple every year.

The temple will begin special poojas and rituals early in the morning, with the worship and aarti of Shri Siddhivinayak Ji taking place from 3:15 AM to 3:50 AM.

Later in the day, temple priests will perform the Navas and Kheer Naivedya Aarti between 12:15 PM and 12:30 PM.

To accommodate the large number of devotees, darshan will remain open until 9:00 PM.

Arrangements for Devotees’ Convenience

The temple authorities, under the guidance of Acharya Pawan Tripathi, Treasurer – Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir, Mumbai, have implemented several crowd management and safety measures.

Temple authorities have also arranged separate queues for men and women, along with special access lines for senior citizens, differently-abled persons, and VIP visitors.

They have installed medical aid stations, water supply points, mobile toilets, and CCTV cameras throughout the temple premises to ensure safety, maintain hygiene, and provide a seamless experience for all worshippers.

Moreover, Security forces have deployed a significant police presence in and around the temple to manage the crowd and ensure safety.

Volunteers and clearly displayed information posters will guide devotees through the temple premises and help maintain order.

To support the increased footfall, additional transport services will be provided by BEST and the Mumbai Metro network.

Online Darshan Facility

For devotees unable to attend in person, the temple trust has arranged for live streaming of the darshan on digital platforms, enabling participation from across the globe.

The temple authorities have issued a special advisory strictly prohibiting the use of drones, video cameras, laptops, and other electronic devices within the temple premises.

The guidelines and preparations were finalised during a coordination meeting held under the guidance of Acharya Pawan Tripathi.

As the Treasurer of Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir, he oversaw the planning to ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all devotees.

Additionally, no permissions have been granted for YouTube recordings or blogging activities inside the complex.

The temple administration has requested all visitors to follow the guidelines sincerely and celebrate the festival with devotion and discipline, ensuring a peaceful and spiritually enriching atmosphere.

These comprehensive preparations highlight the temple trust’s dedication to upholding the sanctity of Angaraki Sankashti Chaturthi and ensuring a safe, orderly, and uplifting experience for all who attend.
