A disturbing hit-and-run incident recently surfaced, capturing a speeding car colliding with a motorcycle and subsequently hitting two school students. The distressing event took place near Raghavendra petrol station in Raichur, Karnataka, and the video of the incident has been circulating on social media.
The CCTV footage revealed the car hitting the motorcycle as the rider attempted an abrupt U-turn, causing the rider to be thrown into the air with severe injuries. The car did not stop there and continued its reckless path, striking two school-going girls who were walking along the roadside. Fortunately, the girls did not sustain major injuries.

In response to the incident, Karnataka’s Additional Director General of Police, Traffic, Alok Kumar, took cognizance and directed the concerned officers to take legal action against both the motorcycle rider and the car driver. ADGP Kumar also recommended the suspension of driving licenses for both individuals involved in the accident, emphasizing the unfortunate injuries caused to the innocent school girls.
In the face of such recklessness and disregard for human life, authorities are taking measures to ensure accountability and prevent such incidents from recurring.
