As polling day approaches, the BJP has brought in its top leaders to boost voter engagement and support. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already held rallies in the state, taking aim at the opposition parties. During a massive rally in Chaibasa on November 4, Modi targeted the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), calling them “anti-Adivasi” and accusing them of disregarding India’s Adivasi community, including the current Adivasi President.

Speaking to a large gathering in Chaibasa, Modi emphasized Jharkhand’s historical legacy, stating, “History shows how the British were uprooted from Kolhan. Today, Kolhan is determined to uproot the corrupt JMM government.” Confident of the BJP’s chances, he asserted that his party would form the next government in the state.

Modi also rallied support with a slogan that has gained traction among voters: “Roti, beti aur maati ki pukaar, Jharkhand me BJP-NDA sarkar” (the call for livelihood, daughters, and land demands a BJP-NDA government in Jharkhand). He assured that an NDA government would prioritize these local needs, resonating with the community’s hopes and aspirations.

As the BJP brings out its star campaigners, the race for Jharkhand is intensifying, with both leaders and voters poised for the state’s decisive election.
