Lucknow, August 13: BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh led the Sarojininagar Grand Tiranga Yatra – 2024 on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day. The yatra, held from Pipaleshwar Hanuman Temple in Hind Nagar, commenced at 5:30 pm and saw enthusiastic participation from BJP officials, workers, and a large crowd. The event featured patriotic slogans, musical performances, and a vibrant display of national pride.

Patriotic Fervor and Community Engagement

Dr. Singh, along with prominent figures including Lucknow Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, MLC Mukesh Sharma, and BJP leaders Anand Dwivedi and Vinay Pratap Singh, walked alongside participants throughout the yatra. Before starting the procession, Dr. Singh visited Pipaleshwar Hanuman Temple and distributed 10,000 national flags to local residents. The yatra, which traveled from Hind Nagar and LDA Colony to the MLA Office in Ashiana, drew significant local support, with participants raising patriotic slogans and playing traditional instruments.

Calls for Unity and National Pride

During the event, Dr. Singh expressed his deep respect for freedom fighters and highlighted the significance of the tricolor as the nation’s soul. He urged everyone to combat national issues such as infiltration and illegal conversion, emphasizing the need for collective action to maintain the pride of the tricolor. He criticized Congress and SP for their alleged attempts to weaken the country through casteism and appeasement politics, asserting that these actions undermine national progress and Prime Minister Modi’s efforts.

The event also featured food distribution through ‘Tara Shakti Free Kitchen,’ a service associated with Dr. Singh. He thanked all participants, party officials, and the people of Sarojininagar for contributing to the grand and historic Tiranga Yatra.
