Sanskar Bharti Kala Sankul Hosts Seminar On Art & Creativity In New Delhi

The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Dr Vinod Narayan Indukar, Chairman of the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), along with seminar coordinator Shruti Sinha, co-coordinator Vishwadeep, programme coordinators Sakshi Sharma, and Sneha Mukherjee.

The seminar opened with a soulful performance of Raga Darbari by classical singer Sadyant Kaushal, filling the venue with enchanting melodies.

Professor Dr Rachna recited her original poems to kick off the literary segment of the event.

This was followed by poet Nasir Kazim performing a ghazal, “Niyat-e-shauq bhar na jaaye kahin, tu bhi dil se utar na jaaye kahin.”

The audience connected deeply with the performance, leaving a lasting impression.

Performance by Urja Akshara

Classical singer Urja Akshara presented a ghazal by poet Munir Niazi, “Aa gayi yaad shaam dhalte hi, bujh gaya dil charagh jalte hi,” elevating the programme to new heights with her melodious rendition.

Following the music performances, Kathak dancers Aparna Sarathe and Aman Pandey further mesmerised the audience with their artistry.

Spectators also enjoyed the dance immensely, applauding the performers and appreciating Sanskar Bharti’s effort in organising the event.

Chief Guest’s Address

Dr Vinod Narayan Indukar highlighted CCRT’s role in promoting art from an Indian perspective.

He also spoke about the institution’s ongoing contribution to the fields of art, culture, music, theatre, and performance. He encouraged artists and discussed the finer nuances of their craft.

Sneha Mukherjee, Director at Pushkala Music Centre and Kathak dancer, appreciated the presentations and invited people to attend future monthly seminars held on the last Sunday of each month.

Music teacher Nandalal Gandharv praised his disciples Rachna, Kaushal, and Urja Akshara for their performances, noting their passion for music and the range of genres they have mastered.

Numerous scholars, artists, and young participants associated with art, culture, literature, and society attended the seminar.

The event further concluded with a renewed commitment to cultural awareness and the continuity of Indian artistic traditions.

Key organisers and contributors included Harshit Goyal, Sneha Mukherjee, Garima Rani, tabla player Pradeep Pathak, Kathak students Priyanka, Nidhi Tiwari, Deepti, Brijesh Kumar, Vijender Kumar, Sushank, and Mrityunjay.
