The airport has adopted robot technology for cleanness.
Moving forward towards continuously improving passenger services, Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport has come up with a unique arrangement. Airport has deployed a fleet of smart cleaning robots for cleanliness. In its first phase, two robots will assist in cleaning in Terminal 3.
With the better use of technology, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport has marked a step ahead of other airports across the country.
The use of Indian manufactured robots is also a support to local innovation. While this technology will save 20 percent water, it is more competent in cleaning nook and corners of the airport as it provide 360 degree coverage. Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport is a pioneer in moving forward towards continuously improving passenger services.

The robots have advanced sensors that can avoid the obstacles with ease. These can re-route themselves to adapt to dynamic environment.
These robot technology for cleanness at airport can cover a whopping 70,000 square ft on one-charge. They will operate silently for 8 hours on a single charge.
These robots are equipped for all cleaning tasks like scrubbing, drying and mopping . For added convenience, Authorities can control them remotely via smartphones or tablets with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Commenting on the new cleaning robots, CCSI Airport spokesperson said, “The introduction of intelligent cleaning robots at Lucknow Airport has streamlined maintenance optimizing processes for a smoother flow, elevated upkeep standards ensuring a consistently pristine environment, operational efficiency and elevate passenger experience. The robots will also help in upskilling the housekeeping staff to high-value task like robot operators.”
