Relief For Pahalgam Victims’ Families As Operation Sindoor Vows Justice & Security

The success of Operation Sindoor, which targeted and destroyed nine terror sites, has brought a sense of justice to the families of those killed in the devastating Pahalgam terror attack.

Relatives of the victims, including Kamakshi Prasanna, whose husband was among the casualties, have publicly expressed their satisfaction with the government’s action, with many hailing the operation as an act of retribution.

A Sense Of Justice For Victims’ Families

Kamakshi Prasanna, a relative of Madhusudan Rao, a victim of the Pahalgam attack, shared her emotions with reporters on Wednesday.

She expressed her relief at the operation’s success, stating that it had avenged the countless families who lost loved ones.

Prasanna mentioned that the operation’s name, ‘Sindoor’, was particularly poignant, given that many women, including herself, lost their husbands in the attack.

She also emphasised that the atrocities suffered by the families of Pahalgam should never be repeated.

“I heard that Operation Sindoor took place last night, and it has avenged so many families. We lost our husbands, and the name of the operation says it all. I want to thank PM Modi for taking this revenge. Whatever happened to the families in Pahalgam should not happen to anyone else,” Prasanna said, her voice filled with emotion.

Another relative of Madhusudan Rao, Anil, echoed similar sentiments.

He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for executing Operation Sindoor and praised the action for bringing the perpetrators of the terror attack to justice.

Anil also called for an end to terrorism, asserting that such attacks should never happen in India again.

“Thanks a lot, PM Modi. It is great news for our family. We are thankful to you for bringing out the terrorists. This is just the beginning. There should not be any terrorist attacks in the future in India. If anyone tries to kill even one person in India, they should be afraid,” Anil said.

Government Responds With An All-Party Meeting

In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, the Union Government has convened an all-party meeting on Thursday at the Parliament Library building to brief political leaders on the operation and discuss its broader implications.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju confirmed the meeting via a post on his official ‘X’ handle.

Key political figures such as the Leader of Opposition Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attended the meeting.

Details Of Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor was carried out in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, with nine terror sites targeted and destroyed.

The Indian Armed Forces shared further details about the operation during a media briefing on Wednesday morning.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Col Sophiya Qureshi elaborated on the precise strikes, including one on the terror camp at Muridke.

Singh explained that the operation was a direct response to the terror attack, delivering justice to the victims and their families.

Operation Sindoor has not only brought justice to the victims’ families but has also sent a strong message about India’s commitment to national security.

As the government continues to engage with political leaders and reaffirm its stance against terrorism, the nation remains united in its resolve to confront and eliminate the threat of terrorism.
