Ravi Patwa Urges Action To Halt Environmental & Social Decline; Highlights Spiritual Respect

Ravi Patwa, a renowned social activist and historian from Darbhanga, has issued a stern warning about the ongoing environmental crisis and social challenges in the region, urging immediate action to prevent further devastation.

Speaking at a recent community event, he likened the current water depletion in Darbhanga’s Mithila region to an invitation for destruction, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable water management.

Patwa emphasised that water scarcity has reached alarming levels, with local rivers and ponds drying up.

He urged people to draw inspiration from traditional water conservation methods. He called for a collaborative effort among government authorities, officials, and local communities. Together, they must protect this vital resource.

“Water conservation is not just a necessity but a sacred duty,” he declared.

Patwa praised ongoing collaborative efforts by governmental and non-governmental organisations to rejuvenate the water bodies but stressed the importance of collective responsibility to ensure long-term success.

Mahadev Shiva’s Blessings Linked to Sincere Prayers

In a related spiritual discourse, Patwa conveyed the significance of genuine devotion and respect towards Lord Mahadev Shiva.

He stated that sincere prayers and pure intentions lead to the fulfilment of desires, underscoring the power of faith.

“If one approaches Lord Shiva with a truthful heart, their wishes will surely be granted,” he said during the event.

He also highlighted the importance of respecting family bonds. He advocated for heartfelt honour towards mothers, sisters, and daughters as a fundamental societal value.

Various community initiatives in Darbhanga are addressing environmental concerns and preserving cultural heritage as Patwa delivers his message.

He lauded the efforts of volunteers and citizens dedicated to these causes and called for sustained momentum to address challenges such as pollution, sanitation, and water scarcity.

According to him, tackling such issues requires a holistic approach involving awareness, education, and government support.
