The auspicious and mega Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla’s idol in the newly built Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be held in the temple town of Ayodhya on Monday, January 22, with much fanfare.

The temple town is completely ready for tomorrow’s ceremony, during which the idol of Lord Ram Lalla will be consecrated in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum. Many devotees have begun flocking to Ayodhya to witness the auspicious occasion.

The consecration ceremony will begin at 12.20 p.m. in the auspicious nakshatra and is expected to be completed by 1 p.m., according to Champat Rai, general secretary of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, with Varanasi priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit officiating the main rituals.
