According to sources, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will meet and evaluate the state’s flood situation on Thursday.
Rajnath Singh, a central government representative, is scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu and undertake an aerial survey of the areas affected by flooding. According to the sources, in addition to meeting with the chief minister, the defence minister will travel to Tamil Nadu to assess the damage caused by the recent floods.
The defence minister will travel with representatives of the Union Home Ministry.
