Rajnath Singh: No Corruption Allegations Against Ministers Under PM Modi’s Government

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh recently praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance, highlighting a notable absence of corruption allegations against any minister in Modi’s administration over the past decade. Speaking at a public gathering in Gauchar, Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, Singh underscored the contrast with previous administrations, particularly the Congress, which faced significant corruption scandals leading to tarnished reputations and ministerial incarcerations.

Singh credited Modi’s leadership for the government’s integrity and emphasized the transformative initiatives undertaken, such as the Jan Dhan Yojana, aimed at financial inclusion for all citizens. He elucidated that the scheme’s success ensured that every paisa withdrawn from Delhi’s banks reached the intended beneficiaries without any diversion to corruption.

Moreover, Prime Minister Modi, in a rally organized by the BJP Uttarakhand in Rishikesh, reiterated the government’s commitment to national security and development. He highlighted the administration’s efforts in combating terrorism, abolishing Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, and enacting laws such as ‘One Rank, One Pension’ and against triple talaq. Modi also emphasized the empowerment of women through reservation in legislative bodies and the provision of 10% reservation for the economically disadvantaged in the general category.

Dhami emphasized the government’s focus on development over divisive identity politics, attributing the progress to Modi’s leadership. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s vision for a united and prosperous India, transcending regional and caste-based divisions.
