Rajnath Singh Congratulates CM Yogi Adityanath For Successful Maha Kumbh Organisation

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday for successfully organising the world’s largest public gathering at the Maha Kumbh.

Speaking about his experience, Singh shared how fortunate he felt to have had the opportunity to take a dip in the sacred Triveni Sangam during the Maha Kumbh.

He echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message: ‘Maha Kumbh Ka Ye Sandesh, Ek Rahega Ye Desh’. The Defence Minister further emphasized the event’s symbolic importance in promoting social harmony and spiritual unity.

He highlighted the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, alongside the rich spiritual and scientific aspects of Sanatan Dharma.

In an interview with ANI, Singh stated “I consider it my good fortune that the almighty has given me this opportunity to take a dip at the Sangam in this Maha Kumbh. Today, after taking a bath in the Sangam, I feel very fulfilled. This festival is a festival of Indian culture and spiritual experience of Sanatan Dharma, which is based on the ancient vedic astronomical event. Here people of different castes and race from all over the country and the world come here with the feeling of oneness. This is a confluence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati with the spiritual, scientific aspect of Sanatan Dharma as well as social harmony. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath deserves congratulations for the way he efficiently conducted the world’s largest public gathering. I heartily congratulate him for this.”

Earlier, Singh had taken a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on the sixth day of the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.

Following the dip, he performed puja and prayed at the sacred confluence of the three rivers. He was accompanied by BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi and other political leaders.
