A viral video from Jaipur has captured the disturbing incident of Rajasthan minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas’ nephew allegedly vandalizing a hotel while in an inebriated state. The incident took place after the accused, identified as Harshdeep Khachariyawas, arrived at the hotel with a group of five to six people in a drunken state. The trouble began when Harshdeep had an argument with another guest at the hotel.
According to the hotel owner, Abhimanyu Singh, the situation escalated when Harshdeep and his companions demanded that the hotel staff open every room to search for the guest with whom they had an altercation. However, the hotel staff refused to comply with their demands. Subsequently, the group called in 20-25 additional individuals and began causing damage to the hotel property.

In an attempt to erase evidence, the group also tried to destroy the CCTV camera recordings. However, the hotel management managed to save the crucial footage. Despite their efforts, the hotel owner and staff have been subjected to threats and harassment following the incident.
The authorities have taken note of the incident, and an FIR has been filed. The police have assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted based on the complaint, and appropriate action will be taken against the culprits.
However, the hotel owner has expressed concerns about submitting the CCTV evidence due to the alleged threats and intimidation. He stated that people are suggesting that the outcome of the case might not favour his business, as Harshdeep is related to a minister. Nonetheless, the hotel owner remains hopeful in the justice system and has faith in the Ashok Gehlot government to handle the matter fairly.
