“Rahul Gandhi Reduced Levels Of Political Discourse”, Says Nadda; While BJP Runs Campaign Against Rahul

Pertaining to this matter, BJP President, JP Nadda tweeted “By comparing OBC communities to thieves, Rahul Gandhi has shown a pathetic and casteist mindset. However, his latest tirade is not surprising. For the last many years, he has always reduced levels of political discourse.”

Rahul Gandhi is ‘arrogant’, says Nadda

Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi held a meeting with all OBC ministers, who will issue statements backing Nadda’s stance that Mr. Gandhi insulted the Other Backward Classes by calling them thieves, in the Parliament. The entire Other Backward Classes will avenge this insult in a democratic manner, the BJP president had said.

He also issued a statement on Rahul highlighting that the leader is ‘arrogant’. “He repeatedly hurt the sentiments of the OBCs. The Surat court has convicted him for his objectionable comments against the community. But Rahul Gandhi and the Congress stuck to those remarks due to their arrogance,” Mr. Nadda said.

Union Minister and BJP’s National General Secretary, Bhupender Yadav had also told media that (Rahul Gandhi) using the term ‘thief’ for an entire community is a misuse of freedom of speech. “There’s a difference between criticism and abuse, they are different. He has abused the entire OBC community,”

BJP is indulging in “caste politics”, says Congress

Denying all the accusations made by BJP, congress says that the ruling party is indulging in “caste politics”. Also, they said that the party is defending Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi.

Congress chief and Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, in a tweet in Hindi, said, “Modi government cannot escape from JPC! Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi, and Mehul Choksi fled with the money of PNB and the public. OBCs did not do so, then how were they insulted?” “SBI/LIC suffered losses due to your ‘best friend’!” he said, slamming the government.

Mr. Kharge even claimed that his party is the one that supports and backs minorities. He said, “They are talking of insult to backward classes. The Congress has always stood with and fought for the backward classes, scheduled castes, and minorities. These people, who believe in Manu, talk of backward classes.”
