After Bharat Jodo Yatra, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is doing Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. During this ‘Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi’s procession reached Aligarh on Sunday which started from Jamalpur flyover and proceeded via Shamshad Market. Rahul Gandhi stopped his car at Shamshad Market intersection and addressed the general public. On the same day, along with Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also present in the Yatra. While on one hand Rahul Gandhi is moving ahead accepting the greetings of his supporters in the Bharat Jodo Yatra across India, on the other hand today when his yatra reached Aligarh Shamshad Market, some students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) showed posters. The students had written on the poster that “We Have A Question” i.e. they were telling Rahul Gandhi that we want to ask you some questions.
Rahul Gandhi was seen ignoring the students and their posters throughout his address, while his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra pointed towards the students with posters and said that after completing his address, Rahul Gandhi will take your questions. The students who were shouting slogans fell silent and allowed Rahul Gandhi to deliver his full address. But as soon as the address was over, Rahul Gandhi started moving the car forward and the security guards started pushing the students. The students still remained adamant on asking questions and after a lot of coercion, finally a student leader Aamir Mintoi was called by Priyanka Gandhi. Still, he could not ask questions properly due to the vehicle moving ahead, but he gave some evidence and related documents to Priyanka Gandhi about the communal violence that took place in Karauli two years ago during the Congress government in Rajasthan, on which Priyanka Gandhi said, “We will talk about this later” and saying this, the car moved forward.

The students said that Rahul Gandhi repeatedly targets Modi ji that Modi ji speaks his mind to the public but does not listen to the public, on the other hand, Rahul Gandhi himself doesn’t listen to the public. He was seen avoiding the questions from students and did not take their questions, this is not at all acceptable in a democratic system.
The students said that in a democratic system the views of the people should be listened to. When Rahul Gandhi is not taking public questions while being out of power, then what will he do after coming to power?
Student leader Amir Mintoi said that the victims of the violence that broke out in Karauli, Rajasthan two years ago under the Congress government in Rajasthan, did not get any justice, rather one-sided action was taken against the people of Muslim community was done. Earlier it was not allowed to take the procession from hat side, but in the same year, permission for the new route of the Yatra was given by the Congress government of Rajasthan, after which violence broke out. Aamir Mintoi told that many photos and videos of anti-social elements involved in that violence were viral, a dossier of which was made by the team of AMU students who had gone there after the Karauli riots. Giving the same dossier to Rahul Gandhi today, during Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra, he had to raise questions on the injustice being done by the Congress government, but turning away from the students’ questions during the Nyaya Yatra is a proof that Congress is trying to take justice for itself but the party does not want to give justice to the public.
