Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Hospitalized In Mohali

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann admitted himself to a private hospital in Mohali after fainting three times. Sources say that he was hospitalized late Wednesday night following these multiple fainting episodes.

A senior leader from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) confirmed that the Chief Minister is undergoing a thorough examination but did not disclose specific details about his condition. He assured the public that Mann’s health is “fine” and indicated that he would be discharged after completing a few necessary tests.

The Fortis Hospital, where Mann is receiving treatment, declined to comment on the situation.

This hospitalization follows a recent visit to Apollo Hospital in Delhi, where Mann underwent routine observation. Hospital sources indicated that he was in good health during that visit.

As of now, neither the AAP nor the Punjab government has issued an official statement regarding Mann’s current health status.

Opposition parties, including the Akali Dal and Congress, have criticized Mann and the AAP in light of his hospitalization, demanding clarity about his condition and whereabouts. Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa took to X to express his concerns, stating, “Yet when it comes to their own health, CM Mann opts for a private hospital in Delhi! The hypocrisy is staggering.”

Further updates on Mann’s health are awaited as he continues to undergo medical evaluations.
