In a significant development, officials announced on Wednesday that the Pune police have successfully apprehended two individuals wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for their alleged involvement in terror-related activities. Notably, both suspects carried a bounty of Rs 5 lakh each.

Subsequent to their capture on Tuesday, the Pune police and Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officials jointly conducted interrogations of the two detainees. The sequence of events leading to their arrest began when a police patrolling team in the Kothrud area of Pune, Maharashtra, encountered three suspects attempting to steal a motorbike during the early hours of Tuesday.
