Classical singer and Kathak dancer Oorja Akshara and classical singer Saadyant gave a mesmerizing performance during the ‘Pune Lit Fest’ at Ferguson College, Pune, Maharashtra today. Their singing mesmerized the audience present there.

Oorja Akshara has been the recipient of several prestigious awards, including a scholarship for excellence in Indian classical music from the Indian Cultural Resource and Training Centre (Government of India) and a scholarship from the Delhi Sanskrit Academy.
Oorja Akshara has served in various leadership roles, such as Youth Ambassador of the Indian Development Foundation, Student Representative at King’s College London and Discipline Panel Volunteer. She has also contributed as a choreographer to the 32nd edition of the Indian Performing Arts Show at King’s College. In addition, she is actively involved in the Students-influencing-change group of Gillup and Kings College (IoPPN).
Saadyaant Kaushal: A Multifaceted Talent
Saadyaant Kaushal, a 12-year-old student at D.P.S R.K. Puram, is a highly accomplished individual with a wide range of talents. He excels in Hindustani classical music, sports, language, academics, computer skills, art, and music, earning accolades in each of these areas.
Achievements in Hindustani Classical Music
Saadyaant has been learning Indian Classical Music under the guidance of Guru Shri Nandlal Gandharv since the age of five. His vocal talent has earned him several awards, including the 1st Prize in Classical Singing at Lazza Dance Academy (Seasons 1 & 2) and the title of “The Singing Star” at the WizKids All India Premier League–Singing Stars Challenge. Saadyaant’s musical journey has led him to perform on national platforms, including the Sub-Junior Category in Classical Singing on Doordarshan’s Hidden Idol (2020) and the Pushkala Kala Music Festival in New Delhi (2019).
