Prominent Politician Mukesh Sahani’s Father Found Murdered In Darbhanga

In a tragic and shocking incident, the father of Mukesh Sahani, the chief of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP),  was found murdered at their residence in Bihar’s Darbhanga district.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the political and local communities alike.

Authorities discovered Jitan Sahani’s mutilated body on his bed early this morning. They made the discovery at the family’s house in Afzala Panchayat, located in the Supaul Bazar area of Darbhanga city.

Darbhanga SSP Reddy Vows Thorough Investigation

Darbhanga Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jaggunath Reddy confirmed the incident and stated that the police had swiftly responded to the scene.

The motive behind the murder remains unclear as authorities continue their investigation.

The Darbhanga police have further enlisted the assistance of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and a dog squad to gather more evidence from the crime scene.

SSP Reddy assured that they will leave no stone unturned in uncovering the truth behind this heinous act.

Mukesh Sahani, a prominent political figure in Bihar, has had a significant impact on the state’s political landscape.

As the President of the Vikassheel Insaan Party, Sahani has been a vocal advocate for the Nishad community, a sizable demographic in Bihar.

He often refers to himself as the ‘Son of Mallah’ (Nishad), underscoring his deep connection with his community.

Meanwhile, Sahani’s political career has seen various highs and lows.

He served as the Minister of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries in the Nitish Kumar government in 2020.

However, his tenure was cut short due to ideological differences with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), leading to his departure from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

The brutal murder of Jitan Sahani has left the Nishad community and the broader public in mourning.

The community, which looks up to Mukesh Sahani as a leader and representative, is however grappling with the sudden and violent loss.

Call For Justice

Mukesh Sahani has yet to make a public statement, but the incident has undoubtedly added a layer of personal tragedy to his already challenging political journey.

As the investigation progresses, there is a collective call for swift justice for Jitan Sahani and assurance that such an atrocity does not go unpunished.

This tragic event not only marks a personal loss for Mukesh Sahani but also underscores the broader issues of safety and justice in the region.

The coming days however will likely bring more clarity to the situation as investigators work diligently to uncover the facts surrounding this case.
