Lucknow University witnessed a significant administrative change today as Vice-Chancellor Prof Alok Kumar Rai officially handed over charge to Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Manuka Khanna.
The transition came after Prof Rai’s 67-month tenure, during which the university undertook several academic and infrastructural initiatives.
During his time as Vice-Chancellor, Prof Rai played a pivotal role in strengthening academic programmes, improving research facilities, and fostering industry collaborations.

Pro VC Prof Manuka Khanna assumed the role of Acting Vice-Chancellor, bringing with her extensive experience in academic administration and teaching.
