Prime Minister Narendra Modi Unveils Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025 In Greater Noida

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2025, an event expected to draw heavy footfall in the coming days.

Upon arriving at the venue, he toured the exhibition halls, where he viewed a range of next-generation products and innovations.

In its third edition, the large-scale exhibition, organised under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is being held at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida from 25 to 29 September.

The event presents the state’s achievements in industry, agriculture, culture, and innovation before an international audience.

The five-day gathering will also feature prominent global business figures, with Russia serving as the partner nation.

Heavy turnout is anticipated, and significant traffic disruptions are likely across Greater Noida during the show.

To ease movement, Gautam Buddha Nagar Police have issued an advisory for commuters.

The exhibition aims to spotlight Uttar Pradesh’s industrial growth, boost trade partnerships, and encourage new investments.

Participants will include corporate leaders, specialists, entrepreneurs, exporters, and senior government representatives.

More than 2,400 exhibitors and around 1.25 lakh B2B visitors are expected to join the programme.

The trade fair is aligned with national initiatives such as:

  • Make in India,
  • Vocal for Local, and
  • Aatmanirbhar Bharat

It will feature investors from every district of Uttar Pradesh alongside top industrial houses and entrepreneurs from across India.

Later in the day, the Prime Minister is scheduled to travel to Banswara in Rajasthan, where he will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development schemes valued at Rs 1.08 lakh crore.

The centrepiece will be the launch of the 2,800 MW Mahi Banswara Nuclear Power Project, which is expected to play a key role in strengthening India’s energy landscape.
