Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to announce a significant boost for Maharashtra with the inauguration and foundation-laying of various development projects valued at over ₹11,200 crore. The event will take place via video conferencing today.
Among the key highlights of the program is the inauguration of the Pune Metro section extending from the District Court to Swargate, marking a pivotal milestone in the completion of the Pune Metro Rail Project (Phase 1). This underground section represents an investment of approximately ₹1,810 crore.

In addition to the metro project, other vital initiatives, including the Bidkin Industrial Area and the Solapur Airport, will also be inaugurated.
