Prime Accused Of The Manipur Horror Incident Arrested By Manipur Police From Thoubal
A very important development came up in the Manipur horror case where two Kuki women were dragged naked. The prime accused of the Incident is arrested by the Manipur Policed. The accused is 32 years old, identified as Heradas. The man was arrested from the Thoubal district in the earfly part of the day.
There were 12 teams who were actively engaged in the search for the people who executed this heinous crime. The search team started working as soon as the video of the accused went viral. “After coordinated actions and quick measures, one of the many culprits is finally nabbed, efforts are made to arrest all the accused involved in the matter,” said Manipur DGP while speaking to the media.

The Superintendent of Police (SP), K Meghachandra Singh, released a press note in response to the video. According to the news release, a case of kidnapping, gang rape, and murder against unidentified armed criminals was filed at Nongpok Sekmai Police Station in the Thoubal district.
The state police have opened an investigation and are making every effort to find and detain those who committed this horrible crime. Tension rose in the Manipuri highlands once the video started to circulate. “As regards the video of 2 women paraded naked by unknown armed miscreants on 4th May 2023, a case of abduction, gangrape and murder was registered at Nongpok Sekmai Police Station (Thoubal district) against unknown armed miscreants. Investigation has started and the state police is making an all-out effort to arrest the culprits at the earliest,” read the statement.
Recently, a video surfaced which showed two women being paraded naked in an area in Manipur. After that, a massive protest broke out against the same. Then Manipur police got to search all the accused in the case.
