Prayagraj: Sex Racket Running In massage Parlor, 13 Detained Including A Foreign Girl

Prayagraj: On Friday evening, a raid was conducted by police on the information of a sex racket being run in the guise of a spa center in P Square Mall located right next to the roadways bus stand in Civil Lines. Police have also detained twenty people from here during the raid. Thirteen of them are women. One of the women detained is from Uganda. Two youths detained have described themselves as managers.

Police have also found many objectionable things in these spa centers. Police had received a complaint that sex rackets are run in these spa centers. Police are investigating the entire matter and the arrested people are also being questioned. Police officers say that any conclusion can be reached in this case only after the investigation is completed.

These four spa centers were running on the upper floor of a commercial building located near the roadways bus station in the Civil Lines area of ​​the city. All four spa centers were on the same floor.

According to information on Friday evening, a user named Chandrashekhar Adhikari Azad posted some pictures and videos about these spa centers of Prayagraj on the social media platform X.

Tagging the Prayagraj Police, it was claimed that a sex racket is run in the guise of a spa center at these places, in which some foreign girls are also involved.  The names of the four spa centers were also given in the post. The videos that were posted were made using a hidden camera. It was also claimed that these spa centers were run by a close associate of the murdered mafia Atiq Ahmed.

Immediately under the Vigil of ACP Shwetabh Pandey, a raid was conducted in P Square Mall located right next to the roadway bus stand late in the evening. There was chaos as soon as the police reached the four spa centers here. During this, others ran away while 20 people including 13 women and girls were taken into custody. One of these is also a woman of Nigerian origin.

According to sources, during the initial interrogation it was revealed that except one of the women and girls caught, all others work in spa centers. They are from different cities and live in rented rooms in Prayagraj. The special thing is that they work under fake names in spa centers while their real names are different. The officers said that how they reached here would be known only after detailed interrogation.

However, the police are investigating the entire matter. Efforts are being made to find out whether a sex racket was actually running here. For now, these four spa centres have been closed. Officers say that if the allegations are found to be true in the investigation, these will be sealed and strict action will be taken against the people taken into custody as well as their operators. This raid created a stir.
