Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Varanasi on Saturday, March 9, marked a series of significant events, starting with his direct arrival from West Bengal, where he held an extensive roadshow. Upon reaching Varanasi, PM Modi proceeded to the revered Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple, accompanied by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
At the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, PM Modi offered prayers, seeking blessings for the well-being and prosperity of the nation. The presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath added to the spiritual ambiance of the visit. Following his worship at the temple, PM Modi shared a post on social media, reflecting on his experiences and interactions during the visit.
The Prime Minister also posted on his social media account about his recent visit, In his post on X he said, ” From Kaziranga to Kashi via Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal! Prayed at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and sought Mahadev’s blessings for the progress of India. Began the day in the serene Kaziranga National Park and lush green tea gardens. Went to the lovely city of Itanagar where I received a very special welcome. Jorhat was mesmerized by the statue of Lachit Borphukan and also joined the public meeting there. This was followed by vibrant programs in Siliguri. Everywhere, the people’s appreciation of our Government’s work is tremendous.”
From Varanasi, PM Modi made his way to Itanagar, where he received a grand welcome from the enthusiastic locals. The reception underscored the warmth and appreciation extended to the Prime Minister during his travels across different states.
In Jorhat, PM Modi was captivated by the sight of the statue of Lachit Borphukan, a revered historical figure. Additionally, he actively participated in a public meeting, engaging with the local community and discussing pertinent issues affecting the region.
Continuing his journey, PM Modi participated in various programs organized in Siliguri. His presence energized the atmosphere, and he interacted with residents, witnessing firsthand their appreciation for the government’s initiatives.
PM Modi’s arrival at Babatpur Airport in Varanasi was met with a grand welcome by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel. Subsequently, a 28-kilometer-long roadshow commenced from Babatpur, culminating at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Thousands of people lined the streets, eager to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister and extend their warm greetings.
